Proton Chemistry Explained
Proton Chemistry ExplainedThe most basic principles of Proton Chemistry relate to the measurement of the properties of atoms in a metal, the influence of electron-electron interactions on their motion, and their use in the synthesis of complex molecules. Proton Chemistry is also called 'relativistic' and was a consequence of the first nucleus structure discovered by Otto Frisch and Richard Feynman in 1935. Proton chemistry is largely a continuation of the principles of nuclear physics as formulated by Albert Einstein in his General Theory of Relativity. The study of these two principles, which had been used as the basis for the structure of the atom and therefore for all the properties of matter, led to the discovery of an entirely new field of science, known as Relativistic Chemistry. The development of modern science has provided us with a number of new tools that make life simpler and more efficient. Some of these tools are simple: better tools for doing things we always wanted to do, and they certainly were, but they haven't been invented yet. Others are more exotic: space shuttles, advanced microscopes, the atom, computers, and the atomic bomb. The atom is one of these more exotic tools, and indeed the entire study of matter, from its beginning, to its current condition, its transformation, and even its future, can be understood only through an understanding of atomic particles and their interactions. The theory of quantum mechanics, developed in the late 19th century by German physicists Albert Einstein and Werner Heisenberg, fundamentally changed the way we look at the world. The theories in their entirety are quite complex and indeed, difficult to understand. However, if we begin with the simpler aspects of atomic and molecular phenomena, we can quickly begin to develop our understanding of the origin of all things and, consequently, the present condition of the universe. To comprehend what these theories are all about, we need to study Proton Chemistry. I t is actually the study of the properties of atoms in a metal, how electrons interact with each other and with electrons, and the influence of these interactions on the properties of atoms. In general, an atom is defined as being a single point in a vacuum or a crystal with no external influences. Atoms are symmetrical (corresponding to the two sides of the crystal or vacuum), stable, and yet, at the same time, are usually thought of as being unstable, and change rapidly in composition.Atoms in a metal behave in such a way that, if you observe the atom in a field of ionized gas, you will observe an object that contains a solid core surrounded by a layer of ionized gas that has been heated to very high temperatures, as well as a charge on the interior of the atom. A single atom is said to be 'stable', if it remains in one position and form, regardless of what happens to the environment surrounding it.Every atom has a 'charge' and if this is positive, this means that the particle's mo tion is in the direction of the electric field of the field. If the atom is negatively charged, then the particle's motion is the opposite. The 'charge' of an atom can be measured and is equivalent to its mass in atomic units (the more massive an atom is, the heavier it is in mass terms).Protons are the smallest element of matter in the universe, each having a mass of less than one kilogram. A complete list of protons includes some of the most important atoms of matter: the hydrogen atom, oxygen atom, the nitrogen atom, carbon atom, iron atom, nickel atom, and so on.

Lexies Language Challenge Review (and a chance to win even more ITC!)
Lexies Language Challenge Review (and a chance to win even more ITC!) I did it! I finished the Challenge! 20 hours of French in 6 weeks! It wasnt easy! But I did it! After my very last lesson, I wanted to sit back and reflect upon what I had actually accomplished. 20 hours is no small feat but like I mentioned in my Week 5 post, as long as you stick to your plan (3 to 4 lessons per week), finishing 20 sessions in 6 weeks actually is not difficult at all! One thing that I wanted to do was actually confirm whether my French had actually improved or not. I felt it did because I no longer felt nervous or afraid of speaking French but I really didnt have any conclusive proof that it had. Then I remembered, I made a Public Video Pledge where I spoke some French at the beginning if the Challenge. As I was making my final video, I decided to edit in my before video of my attempts to speak French and found out that the difference was remarkable. Watch below and judge for yourself! Create a Challenge Review Video and win 300ITC! So if you won the Challenge and are would like to show off your Challenge achievements in a video, well be awarding an additional 300ITC to the top 3 Challenge Review Videos (our staff will be judging). Its like winning another Challenge! To do this: Speak in your native language (Below are questions to help guide your video but it can be done any way you want! Be creative!) Introduce yourself and what language(s) were your learning in the Challenge? Tell us about your italki teacher(s)? What was good about your teacher(s)? What did you learn about learning a new language after completing the Challenge? Do you have any advice for people who are thinking of taking the Challenge in the future? Include some BEFORE footage from your Public Video Pledge (for those of you who made a Public Video Pledge) Repeat the above in the language learned in the Challenge Label the video: â(italki username) completed the 2014 italki New Yearâs Language Challenge!â Write a Notebook Entry âI completed the 2014 italki New Years Language Challenge and paste the YouTube/Youku URL. Constructing the Perfect Thank-You Note
Constructing the Perfect Thank-You Note Image via pexels.com Show your gratitude and be genuine about it. Showing your thanks in a thank-you note goes without saying, but its important to show how grateful you are for the opportunity given to you, even if it was just for the single interview. Being courteous, even over an email, translates well on your character and as a potential employee in the eyes of employers. You dont want to leave the thank-you note at a simple Thank you for your time, but you also dont want to fill the email with desperation or flattery. Express your appreciation for the opportunity and the persons time, what you enjoyed out of the interview, and your continued interest in the job/internship position. These three points are effective in getting your gratitude across without making it seem forced. Be as specific as possible by referring back to the interview. A simple Thank you for your time and this opportunity wont do; make the thank-you more personal by referencing points of interest that came up during the interview for the job or internship. If a big chunk of the interview was spent on a certain topic, such as a problem the company is facing and how you could help the company work through it, bring your potential employers attention back to it. By including specific points brought up during the interview, you are directly showing how much you paid attention during the interview and how interested you are by remembering the specifics. Making the thank-you note more specific to the interview will make it less generic, showing your interviewer that you are more genuine about your gratitude than a simple copy-and-paste thank-you note would. Be prompt with your thank-you note. The purpose of a thank-you note is to both show your gratitude and put the interviewers attention back on you as a potential employee. You dont want to send a thank-you note after a week has passed; it makes the thank-you note near pointless. In that week, an employer could have already forgotten about their time with you, or worse, have already made their hiring decisions. Its best to send your thank-you note within the 24 hour period following the interview for your job or internship position. The shorter the time between sending your thank-you note and the actual interview, the fresher you and your potential will be to the interviewer. With the interview fresh in their mind, the interviewer will be able to tie the thank-you note to your face rather than just another job/internship applicant. Proofread the thank-you note more than once. Even in your haste to send out a thank-you note, you should spend just as much time proof-reading for any mistakes as you did to type it out. There is no point in sending a thank-you note filled with grammatical errors; sending a thank-you note that lacks coherency or proper grammar will not help your chances of getting hired. Imagine applying for an internship where many of your duties revolve around sending emails or editing documents but sending your potential employer a thank-you note lacking proper grammar. It can set back any advances made during the interview and lower your qualifications in the eyes of the employers. Sell yourself one last time. Take the opportunity that the thank-you note gives include anything that boosts your potential in the eyes of the interviewer that you may have forgotten to mention in the interview. In the moment, interviews are filled with nerves and youre bound to leave out at least one thing you actually planned on mentioning. Maybe you did mention it during the interview, but you were too nervous to fully articulate the point. Writing out a thank-you note gives you the opportunity to sell your potential one last time, and the opportunity to think out how to do so concisely and eloquently. Some ways to go about this are to bring up past experiences that will enable you to help the company if you were to be hired, or how your specific collection of skills will help you contribute to the company. Be confident in your ability to fill the position and how you are personally qualified to do so.

Kid Learning English Worksheet - What to Look For
Kid Learning English Worksheet - What to Look ForThese are some of the things that you will find in a kid learning English worksheet. There are a lot of worksheets that are for learning a new language that you can make at home but most of these are not useful in creating a child's confidence to be able to speak and read and write his or her native language fluently. The best thing to do is to find out which worksheet is best suited for your child. This is because it depends on the age of your child and their current ability and progress in learning. This is what you need to think about when you plan to purchase one for your child to use.Kid's is most commonly said to be considered when you have a baby or a toddler who have limited use of speech. Since you are purchasing the worksheet to help them, the essential is that it has pictures that can be a visual guide to how the text will be read by your child. You need to make sure that the writing is easy for your child to read because the y won't be able to read a sentence correctly if the words are hard to understand. You also need to make sure that the keyboard layout is easy for your child to use so that they don't get confused while typing.Another thing you need to consider is that since your child is still very young, they cannot speak properly. The worksheet should have those two key words that your child needs to know while reading and writing the sentences. So they need to have a worksheet that is easily understandable to them so that they can learn and recognize the letters and words that they need to learn in order to become fluent. There are other worksheets that are specifically designed for kids who are only five years old. The parents can use these for their children so that they can continue their language studies. But these are just in the form of a handwriting so that your child can write it using a pen so that you will know how the letters are to be read. The worksheets are very useful for parents, be cause they can continue their language learning with their children. Kids start to speak at around the age of five and they need to start at the very beginning of their language studies. So if you are planning to have your child to be able to speak, the best worksheet for you is the one that is suitable for your child. We are all aware that the more you have to speak, the slower your child's mouth and their's speaks. So the more they have to read, the faster they will be able to learn to speak.
An Online Chemistry Tutor Can Be a Great Addition to Your Class
An Online Chemistry Tutor Can Be a Great Addition to Your ClassIf you need to fill the needs of a student in your class, then an online chemistry tutor is probably the best option for you. There are many benefits of using one over an in-person tutor. First, you do not have to leave your job or move. Second, the tutor will be able to work from the comfort of your home or office. You can often have a challenging class, and if your students cannot reach their goals, this can be very frustrating. Your tutor can actually help you out here. In fact, some tutors specialize in helping their students meet their goals. For example, if your students struggle with topics, he or she can help you come up with alternative tests to help them focus on the topic. The tutor can also teach them how to create a test that best demonstrates their mastery of the material. If your students seem to be struggling with a specific idea, such as calculus, then the tutor can teach the students how to use the concept s to solve problems. As a result, your students will be more confident when it comes to solving math problems. In addition, the tutor will provide information about 'other math courses,' and you will know what sort of student you are dealing with.If you decide to use an online chemistry tutor, the first thing that you will want to do is to research different methods of how to choose one. Different tutors have different ways of doing things. Therefore, it is important to learn about the different ways that tutors work. For example, some offer tutoring from the convenience of their home. Others, like a tutor in Riverview, offer 24-hour assistance. Also, you may want to learn about the different types of tutors, including those who do online tutoring.A great advantage to using an online tutor is that they usually have access to their students' test scores. This allows the tutor to get a better idea of how your students' ability level stacks up against their classmates. In addition, the online tutor can provide hints and solutions to questions that you have provided. Therefore, the online tutor can ensure that you are getting the best solution to the problem and can help you learn more about the subject matter that you are studying. When using a school chemistry tutor, you want to make sure that you are looking for someone that has a license and you feel comfortable with. Make sure that the tutor has some of the following: a good reputation, a good idea of his or her skill, and easy access to your student's test scores and notes.
Managing Your Transition from Military to Civilian Work - Introvert Whisperer
Introvert Whisperer / Managing Your Transition from Military to Civilian Work - Introvert Whisperer Managing Your Transition from Military to Civilian Work Dear Beloved Soldier, This is some information I have wanted to share with you for a long time. I just never had a place I communicate with you until now. If you are about to leave the military or have already, there is a huge transition facing you. Iâm sure your friends have already shared with you how difficult it can be. It probably has you in turmoil as to whether leaving is a good step or not. The funny thing is that is how transition works. It makes you question yourself before, during and after. What seemed like a good idea at the time, is now making you not only question the decision but also your own judgment. I hate that for you but Iâm going to give you one of those fact-of-life talks that will equip you now and throughout your life. I only wish that as a culture, we would talk about change more than we do. It would help us through big changes like what youâre going through and will continue to go through your whole life. CHANGE TRANSITION There is change and there is transition and they are related but different in terms of what they put us through. Change is an event. Itâs an outward activity like leaving the military, moving or changing jobs. It is also a discrete process as well, with well-understood stages that ultimately lead to a decision and action. Transition is the internal, emotional reaction to changes you are making or about to make. Like change, it is its own discrete process and stages. While the two go together, they arenât the same nor should you think they are because you manage through them in different ways. To give you an example of the two and weâll keep it simple. Letâs say youâre still in the military and have new orders to be stationed in a new location. The change is a new assignment, in a new location. Your actions entail figuring out your various logistics of moving your things and being assigned to new leadership. Your transition might involve sadness is leaving your friends or leadership, or location. You might feel uneasy about what the new assignment might entail and once you arrive, you have both the assignment to get used to and all those new people. Even after you start your new assignment, youâre not that comfortable for a while. Sound familiar? Thatâs the difference between change and transition. Related but different. What to know about Transition We do very little in our culture to help people understand transition. As a result, I think some of us make poor decisions when we are in the midst of it because we donât understand what is taking place. William Bridges has written and taught that are three distinct phases to transition. I have modified some of the wording because I think it describes the phase better. They are: Endings. If you think about it, all change means something has come to an end. For you, itâs your military service. Itâs also much more than those words imply. Itâs the ending of a lifestyle, friends, philosoph, and work. Confusion. You will go through a period that lacks clarity about all sorts of things. The primary reason is that you have not solidly âbecomeâ whatever the new direction is. You might be learning or you might simply be in search but you donât yet know enough about your new endeavor. Beginning. You might start a new job and move to a new location however, your emotions have not yet caught up â" they will. Each day you get a clearer picture but it takes a while. You havenât learned your job, you really havenât yet established tight relationships and you certainly havenât used your true potential. Itâs important to understand that this is 100% an emotional experience and it will cause you to be excited and terrified at the same time. Thatâs why itâs related to change but itâs not the same. One is an internal experience and the other is an outward experience. Another interesting thing about transition is that your transition can sometimes precede your change and be the catalyst of making a change. People who dislike their job go through this. First, they have to experience enough of these emotions for long enough to prompt a decision to find a new job. You especially see this scenario when people end relationships. Each phase is also characterized by different emotions. The phase of Endings I fondly call the âdis-ingâ phase, as you will notice a hefty list of emotions that begin with âdisâ. When you decided to leave the military and did the required paperwork, you became a short-timer. This term is largely driven by the emotions listed. Itâs hard to keep up your interest because emotionally, the train has left the station. I will also point out the aspect of mourning. We do mourn things that have ended in our life sometimes in addition to the mourning the loss of a loved one. Like anything you mourn for, you will move past it at some point. You may not experience all of these emotions including mourning because we all react to changes differently. The duration of your emotions is a by-product of your own unique emotional makeup. You canât compare yourself to others. It also doesnât help to deny the existence of these emotions. Ending phase Confusion phase Beginnings phase Disengagement Emptiness Inner signals Dismantling Surrender Identify of self Disassociation Unshaped by purpose Excitement Disenchantment Realignment Resolve Disorientation Reorientation Disinterest Sluggish Mourning William Bridges calls the phase of Confusion âNeutralâ but as you look over the list of possible emotions, itâs anything but neutral. Itâs important to notice that both Ending and Confusion are largely shaped by negative emotions and this almost more than anything else, it the point you should take out of this. Itâs not going to be a comfortable time for you, even if you are hysterically happy about your new endeavor. It is confusing: Happy and uncomfortable at the same time? In the phase of Beginnings you see your new life taking shape. Each day the window to your beginning is opened wider and you see more and more glimpses of whatâs ahead. This is what youâve been waiting for, even if your body is already there. The Management of YOUR Transition When you have a medical procedure or operation, the doctor will tell you what to expect following the surgery. Along with that, they will tell you some things you should do to aid in your own recovery. Telling you that you will be in some discomfort doesnât make the discomfort go away. What it does do is to let you know that what you are experiencing is normal and to be expected. To a very large degree, the same is true for your transition. You are going to have conflicting feelings and mixed emotions. Thatâs par for the course of transition. You will experience some discomfort as well as confusion. The best management is the knowledge of transition and itâs phases. You canât speed up your feelings nor can you slow them down or compare yourself to others. It is what it is. If your transition is prolonged because your new work has yet to manifest, you have to give yourself purpose in the meantime. In addition to job search, do things like volunteer. We under value the place that purpose has in our life, however it is one of the primary assets that we find through the work we do. You might also need to bulk up on patience. Itâs a highly underappreciated trait especially when you are uncomfortable and just want to feel normal- right now! You could begin doing things like mediation to calm down from whatâs taking place. Find peace in the knowledge that your transition will pass and each day will get better. Be very cautious about reversing your decisions or jumping to conclusions. We will get into a transition and interpret our conflicting emotions as a sign we made a bad decision. It doesnât mean you shouldnât make big decisions but spend more time than usual right now to make sure the decision is a good one. Consider consulting with a neutral person to act as a sounding board. Change. We arenât resistant to change despite urban myths that some of us are. You will go through change continuously throughout your life. That means you will have transitions large and small to go through only now, you know what to expect. Let me emphasize that Self-Promotion doesnât have to be obnoxious to be effective. But, if you donât Self-Promote you, who will? If you ever want to get ahead, you have to learn how to Self-Promote.
